It's the end of February - a month that has been associated with blistering cold since I was young. I remember the many early mornings spent shivering waiting for the school bus to come retrieve me and my peers. No matter how hard you try, the cold air enters the many layers of clothing you wear and robs you of your warmth.
This month has always been cold, which is not abnormal for the many people who live in New York. New York is known for their cold months and shivering temperature drops, but this February is different. What's different is the many snow showers it's held. The rate of snow was an almost abnormally high occurrence, and it seems that this city was having trouble finding places to put the snow.
